皮剝（被碑反考聲云皮亦剝也經文從刀作㓟俗字也下邦角反夏小疋云剝削也說文刻也從刀彔聲也）。

Skinning and flaying (皮剝) (fanqie: 被碑 [pí]. The Kaosheng says: "皮 also means to peel off." The sūtra text takes the knife radical [刀] to make 㓟, which is a popular form. Lower: fanqie 邦角 [bō]; the Xia Xiaozheng says: "剝 means to shave off." The Shuowen says: "To carve; analyzed from knife [刀] with lu [彔] as the phonetic.")
