唾涎（託臥反說文云唾口液也從口垂聲亦作涶下羨延反考聲云㳄口中津也說文從水欠聲經作涎俗字也）。

Spittle and saliva (唾涎) (fanqie: 託臥 [tuò]. The Shuowen says: "唾 is liquid from the mouth; it is analyzed from mouth [口] with chui [垂] as the phonetic." It is also written 涶. Lower: fanqie 羨延 [xián]; the Kaosheng says: "涎 is saliva in the mouth." The Shuowen says it is analyzed from water [水] with qian [欠] as the phonetic; the sūtra writes 涎, which is a popular form.)
