剉斬（麤貨反考聲云剉細斫也說文從刀坐聲經作[利-禾+(前-刖+(坐-(人*人)+(人*口)))]非也下側減反考聲云斬斫也說文云截也從斤車聲）。

剉斬 [cuòzhǎn, to mince and chop]: [the first character is pronounced] 麤 + 貨 fanqie. The Kaosheng says: '剉 means to chop finely.' The Shuowen states that it takes the knife radical (刀) with zuò (坐) providing the sound. In the sūtra it is written as [利-禾+(前-刖+(坐-(人*人)+(人*口)))], which is erroneous. The second character is pronounced 側 + 減 fanqie. The Kaosheng says: '斬 means to hack or chop.' The Shuowen says: 'It means to sever.' It takes the axe radical (斤) with chē (車) providing the sound.
