軌地 [guǐdì, ruts / tracks on the ground]: the ancient characters are 𧗝 and 𨑍, identical, pronounced 居 + 美 fanqie. The Guangya says: '軌 means track.' The Shuowen says: 'A cart rut.' The Guoyu says: '軌 means law or rule.'
