嘿蟲（茫北反方言北謂蝙蝠為蟙蟔蜀中名也巴北自關東並名服翼關西名蝙蝠也）。

嘿蟲 [mòchóng, bat]: [the first character is pronounced] 茫 + 北 fanqie. The Fangyan says: 'In the north, bats are called 蟙蟔, which is the regional name in Shu. In northern Ba, eastward from Hangu Pass, they are all called 服翼 [fúyì]; westward from the Pass, they are called 蝙蝠 [biānfú].'
