眄睞（上蔑遍反方言自關而西秦晉之間曰眄說文邪視也一曰目偏合也從目丐聲丐音同上下來岱反廣雅睞視也說文童子不正也從目來聲也）。

Glance aside [眄睞] (the first character has the fanqie: 蔑 + 遍. The Fangyan says: “From the Pass westward, between Qin and Jin, it is called mian.” The Shuowen says: “To look askance; one view says it is closing one eye partially; with the radical 目 and gai phonetic; gai has the same sound as above.” The lower character has the fanqie: 來 + 岱. The Guangya says: “Lai means to look.” The Shuowen says: “The pupil is not straight; with the radical 目 and lai phonetic”).
