鈇質（方扶反書中鈇或音斧橫斧也古者殺人用斧下正體作㩫之逸反說文鈇莝斫也埤蒼㩫椹也公羊傳曰不忍加其鈇質何休曰斬要之罪也）。

Execution axe and block [鈇質] (fanqie: 方 + 扶. In books, 鈇 is sometimes pronounced 斧, a broad axe; in ancient times, an axe was used to execute people. The lower character's correct form is 㩫; fanqie: 之 + 逸. The Shuowen says: “鈇 is a chopping chopper.” The Picang says: “㩫 is a chopping block.” The Gongyang zhuan says: 'Could not bear to subject him to the execution axe and block.' He Xiu says: “The punishment of being chopped in two at the waist”).
