瞑眩（上眠遍反尚書云若藥不瞑眩厥疾不瘳說文瞑翕目也從目冥聲下懸絹反賈注國語眩惑也蒼頡篇視之不明也說文從目玄聲經從面作𥈅非也俗用耳）。

Dizziness and vertigo [瞑眩] (the first character has the fanqie: 眠 + 遍. The Shangshu says: 'If medicine does not induce dizziness, the illness will not be cured.' The Shuowen says: “Ming means to close the eyes; with the radical 目 and ming phonetic.” The lower character has the fanqie: 懸 + 絹. Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: “Xuan means confused.” The Cangjie pian says: “Unclear vision.” The Shuowen gives it with the radical 目 and xuan phonetic. In the sūtra it is written with the radical 面 as 𥈅, which is incorrect and only a vulgar usage).
