䵴䵟（上層亘反下于嬾反或云䵟䵴或從皮作皯或從曾作[曾*干]文字集略云面上黑斑點病也古譯經文作咤幹甚無義理或是書經人錯誤也或是譯者用字乖僻今且改為䵟䵴智者再詳也）。

Dark facial spots [䵴䵟] (the first character is pronounced *ceng* + *gen* [cèng]; the second is pronounced *yu* + *lan* [yǎn]. It is also written as 䵟䵴, or with "skin" [皮] as 皯, or with 曾 as [曾*干]. The *Wenzi jilüe* states: 'A disease of dark facial spots.' In old translations of the sūtra it is written as 咤幹, which makes no sense at all; either the sūtra copyists made a mistake, or the translator used obscure characters. Here it is amended for now to 䵟䵴; let the wise examine it further).
