如綫（仙箭反周禮縫人掌王宮之縫綫鄭眾云線亦縷也說文義同從系戔聲戔音殘經作綖音延是冠上覆也非綫字也或作線亦俗字也）。

Ruxian 如綫 (pronounced 仙箭 [xiàn]). The Rites of Zhou says: 'The seamstresses oversee the sewing and thread (xian 綫) of the royal palace.' Zheng Zhong says: '線 also means thread.' The Shuowen jiezi gives the same meaning. It takes the silk radical with 戔 phonetic; 戔 is pronounced 殘 [cán]. The sūtra text writes it as 綖, pronounced 延 [yán], which is the top cover of a ceremonial cap, and is not the character 綫. It is also written 線, which is a popular variant.
