跡深（尸任反深淺之深經文作淙藏宗反說文淙水聲也廣雅淙漬也非經義也）。

Jishen 跡深 (pronounced 尸任 [shēn], as in deep of 'deep and shallow'). The sūtra text writes 淙, pronounced 藏宗 [cóng]. The Shuowen jiezi says: '淙 is the sound of water.' The Guangya says: '淙 means to soak.' These are not the meaning intended in the sūtra.
