禺中（上遇俱反鄭注考工記云隅角也孔注尚書曰出於陽谷谷隅夷也從𨸏作隅義與禺同也說文從甶內聲甶音弗禸音仁柳反也）。

Approaching noon (禺中: the first character with fanqie *yu-ju* [yú]. Zheng’s commentary on the Kaogongji says: “*Yu* (隅) means corner.” Kong’s commentary on the Shangshu says: “Emerging at the Yang Valley, the corner [border] of the valley is called Yi; writing it with mound (*fù*) as *yú* (隅) has the same meaning as *yú* (禺).” Shuowen: “Composed of ghost-head (*fú*) with *nèi* as phonetic; *fú* (甶) has the sound *fú* [fú], and *róu* (禸) has the sound *ren-liu* [rǒu]”).
