依洫（上依字經文單衣非也准義合從人作依下吁域反周禮云洫所以通水於川也說文云十里為地地廣八尺深八尺謂之洫從水血聲洫亦溝也）。

依洫 ("relying on drainage ditches": the sūtra text writing the first character 依 as plain 衣 is incorrect; according to the meaning it should have the person radical as 依. The second character is fanqie 吁域 [xù]. The Rites of Zhou says: 'A 洫 is that by which water is conducted into a river.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Ten li makes a di; a trench eight chi wide and eight chi deep is called a 洫. Derived from 水 with 血 as phonetic.' A 洫 is also a ditch).
