深坑（客衡反爾雅云坑墟也郭注云塹池謂丘墟耳蒼頡篇壑也陷也古今正字從土亢聲也經從石作砊非也）。

深坑 (fanqie: 客 + 衡). The Erya says: '坑 means a mound or ruin.' Guo [Pu's] commentary says: 'Moats and ponds are simply called mounds and ruins.' The Cang Jie Pian says: 'A ravine, a pitfall.' The Gujin zhengzi gives it with the semantic classifier 土 (earth) and 亢 as its phonetic. The scripture writing it with the stone radical as 砊 is incorrect.
