塵埃（上塵字從鹿從土下音哀說文從土從矣字從[耜-耒]從𠂕[耜-耒]音以𠂕音始今隷從省也）。

塵埃 (the upper character 塵 is composed of 鹿 [deer] and 土 [earth]; the lower character is pronounced *ai*; the *Shuowen* gives it as composed of 土 [earth] and 矣, and the character [矣] is composed of [耜-耒] and 𠂕; [耜-耒] is pronounced *yi*, and 𠂕 is pronounced *shi*; in the clerical script today it is abbreviated).
