齟齘（上疾與反考聲嚼也下骸戒反方言齘怒也說文齒相切怒也從齒介聲經從爪作𪗢非也）。

Grinding and gnashing 齟齘 (the upper has the fanqie ji-yu [t͡sʰiɤ̌]; the Kaosheng says: “to chew.” The lower has the fanqie hai-jie [ɣai]; the Fangyan says: “齘 means anger.” The Shuowen jiezi says: “Gnashing the teeth in anger; it is derived from radical 齒 [teeth] with 介 [jiè] as phonetic.” In the sūtra it is written under radical 爪 as 𪗢, which is incorrect).
