銘其（上覓瓶反鄭注考工記云銘之言名也禮記銘之義書美而不稱惡也顧野王鐫刻金石也說文從金名聲也）。

Inscribe on it 銘其 (the upper has the fanqie mi-ping [mieŋ]. Zheng's commentary on the Kaogongji says: “銘 is synonymous with name (名).” The Liji says: “The principle of an inscription is to record the virtuous without mentioning the evil.” Gu Yewang says: “Engraving on metal or stone.” The Shuowen jiezi says: “Derived from radical 金 [metal] with 名 [míng] as phonetic”).
