Zhuanming [撰銘] (the first character is pronounced zhu + luan [zhuan]; *zhuan* is like *shu* [to narrate]; the *Guangya* states that *zhuan* means to set or decide. The second character is pronounced mo + xia [ming]; *ming* [inscription] has the sense of naming; it means to write down someone's achievements upon the great banner; it also means to carve upon bronze or stone in order to record merits and virtues).
