Xilian [徯戀] (the first character is pronounced xi + qi [xi]; Kong Anguo's commentary on the *Shangshu* says: '*Xi* means to wait for'; the *Shuowen jiezi* also says it means to wait for; it derives from 彳 with *xi* [奚] as phonetic; it is also written as [疏-(梳-木)+(奚-ㄠ+(凵@?))]).
