Xunxi [𡼡習] (the first character is pronounced xu + jun [xun]; the *Kaosheng* states: 'The appearance of wind arriving; also, having practiced something for a long time such that nothing can be done about it'; the *Shuowen jiezi* states that it derives from 屮 and 黑; the sūtra writing it with 'grass' as 薰 refers to fragrant grass, which diverges from the sense of the text; 屮 is pronounced chou + lie [che]).
