捨鑑（又作鑒同古儳反廣雅鑑照也鑑謂之鏡所以察形者也）。

Discarding the mirror (捨鑑: also written as 鑒. It has the fanqie *gu* [k-] + *chan* [-am], [jian]. The Guangya says: "鑑 means to illuminate." A 鑑 is called a mirror; it is that by which one examines the form).
