隄䧜（上弟奚反韋昭云隄積土為封限也說文唐也從阜是聲也下蕩郎反古今正字云長沙人謂隄為䧜從阜唐聲亦作塘）。

Embankments and dikes (隄䧜): The upper character is [read with the fanqie] 弟奚. Wei Zhao says: '隄 means piled-up earth forming a boundary limit.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It means a dike (唐); it takes 阜 as radical and 是 as phonetic.' The lower character is [read with the fanqie] 蕩郎. The Gujin zhengzi states: 'The people of Changsha call an embankment a 䧜; it takes 阜 as radical and 唐 as phonetic.' It is also written as 塘.
