澣之（桓椀反鄭箋毛詩云澣濯也劉兆注公羊云去舊垢曰澣說文濯衣垢也從水幹聲亦作浣譜作浣俗字也）。

澣之 (Fanqie 桓 + 椀. Zheng's Commentary to the Mao Poetry says: '澣 means to wash.' Liu Zhao's commentary to the Gongyang says: 'To remove old grime is called 澣.' The Shuowen says: 'To wash clothes of dirt; formed with "water" [水] as semantic and 幹 as phonetic.' It is also written as 浣. In the genealogy it is written as 浣, which is a popular variant.)
