擯罰（上賓俊反司馬彪注莊子云擯棄也史記云相與非擯之是也古今正字從手賓聲下煩發反說文云罰罪之小者言未以刀有所誡但持刀罵詈應罰也從刀詈會意字詈音利也）。

擯罰 (The first character has the fanqie bin + jun. Sima Biao's commentary on the Zhuangzi says: '擯 means to cast out.' The Shiji says: 'Together they criticized and cast him out [擯],' which is an example. The Gujin zhengzi says: 'It takes 手 as semantic classifier and 賓 as phonetic.' The second character has the fanqie fan + fa. The Shuowen says: '罰 is a minor transgression; it means that one does not yet use a blade to caution someone, but only holds a knife and curses them, deserving punishment.
