婚娉（匹併反顧野王云娉問也娶妻及禮賢達納徵束帛相問曰娉說文從女𦥚聲也𦥚音匹丁反）。

婚娉 [betrothal] (Pronounced with the fanqie 匹併 [pìng]. Gu Yewang says: '娉 means to ask. To take a wife, or to show courteous inquiry to the worthy and eminent with bundles of silk, is called 娉.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Derived from 女 with 𦥚 as phonetic.' 𦥚 has the fanqie 匹丁 [pīng]).
