仡然（上銀訖反考聲云侄仡癡皃不前皃也說文從人乞聲侄音珍栗反譜從山作屹誤也）。

仡然 [unyielding / haltingly] (The first character has the fanqie 銀訖 [yì]. The Kaosheng says: '侄仡 is the appearance of foolishness and hesitation to advance.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Derived from 人 with 乞 as phonetic.' 侄 has the fanqie 珍栗 [zhì]. The Pu writes it with the mountain radical as 屹, which is an error).
