刑笑（霄曜反毛詩傳云[竺-二+(犮-乂+又)]侮之也顧野王云為所鄙恡而笑之也古今正字笑喜也從竹犬聲譜文作咲俗字也）。

刑笑 [mocking laughter] (Pronounced with the fanqie 霄曜 [xiào]. The commentary on the Mao Shi says: '[To laugh at someone] is to ridicule and humiliate them.' Gu Yewang says: 'To despise and demean someone and laugh at them.' The Gujin zhengzi says: '笑 means joy; derived from 竹 with 犬 as phonetic.' In the text of the Pu, it is written as 咲, which is a popular character).
