Peeping and spying (闚𨵦: the first is [pronounced] *quan* + *gui* [kuī]; the second is *geng* + *zhu* [zhū]. The Kaosheng says it means 'to peek' [覷]; 'to peek' [覷] is [pronounced] *qing* + *yu* [qù]. 𨵦 also means 'to peep'. The Jixun says it means 'to watch secretly'. The Shuowen notes that both characters take the 'door' [門] radical and are phono-semantic characters).
