蕛稗（上弟泥反郭注爾雅稊似稗布地而生穢草也或作稊說文作第古今正字從草稊聲也牌賣反杜注左傳稗草之似穀也或作粺古今正字云禾別種也從禾卑聲也）。

Tíbài (蕛稗, weeds and wild millets; the upper [character] has the fanqie [dì + ní]; Guo's commentary on the Erya states: "Tí (稊) resembles bài; it spreads over the ground as a noxious weed." Also written as '稊'. The Shuowen writes '第'. The Gujin zhengzi takes '草' (grass) with '稊' as phonetic. [The lower character has the] fanqie [pái + mài]; Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan states: "Bài (稗) is a weed resembling grain." Also written as '粺'. The Gujin zhengzi states: "A separate species of cereal crop"; it takes '禾' (cereal) with '卑' as phonetic).
