碼碯（上麻把反下那老反考聲云碼碯似玉有黑文亦云斑玉也字書碼碯石之次玉也文字典說二字並從石馬[甾-十+乂]聲音同上或從玉作瑪瑙）。

Agate (碼碯; the first character has the fanqie 麻把 [m- + -ǎ]; the second has the fanqie 那老 [n- + -ǎo]; the Kaosheng says: "Agate resembles jade with black veins; it is also called mottled jade"; the character books say: "Agate is a stone second to jade"; the Wenzi dian shuo says: "Both characters take 'stone' (石) as semantic, with 馬 and [甾-十+乂] as phonetic, pronounced the same as above"; it is also written with 'jade' (玉) as 瑪瑙).
