往撤（下恥烈反毛詩傳云撤剝也杜注左傳云去也鄭注儀禮云除也王逸注楚辭云壞也廣雅云減也取也古今正字從手散聲）。

Went to dismantle (往撤: the second character has the fanqie 恥烈 [chǐ + liè -> chè]; Mao's *Poetry Commentary* says: "*Che* (撤) means to peel/remove." Du's commentary on the *Zuo zhuan* says: "To remove." Zheng's commentary on the *Yili* says: "To clear away." Wang Yi's commentary on the *Chuci* says: "To demolish." The *Guangya* says: "To reduce; to take." The *Gujin zhengzi* has it with the 'hand' radical and *san* (散) phonetic).
