譴祟（上牽見反廣雅云譴責也蒼頡篇云呵也說文問也從言遣聲下雖醉反歸藏云祟在司命也說文祟神為禍也從示出聲經文從宗作祟非也）。

譴祟 (upper character: *qian* + *jian* fanqie; the *Guangya* says: '譴 means to reprimand.' The *Cang Jie pian* says: 'To rebuke.' The *Shuowen* says: 'To interrogate, reprimand; derived from 言 with 遣 as phonetic.' Lower character: *sui* + *zui* fanqie; the *Guizang* says: '祟 lies with the Master of Fate.' The *Shuowen* says: 'Spirits causing calamity; derived from 示 with 出 as phonetic.' In the sūtra text it is written with 宗 as 祟, which is incorrect).
