𠯗敕（上𭨚荅反埤蒼云𠯗齧脣也考聲𠯗嗍也韻略𠯗入口也說文銜也從口帀聲或作𠾱也下雙捉反考聲云欶吮也略云口噏也案欶字蚊虫眾𠯗欶也從欠束聲經文作嗽俗字也）。

𠯗敕 (upper character: *yuan* + *da* fanqie; the *Picang* says: '𠯗 means biting the lips.' The *Kaosheng* says: '𠯗 means to suck.' The *Yunlüe* says: '𠯗 means entering the mouth.' The *Shuowen* says: 'To hold in the mouth; derived from 口 with 帀 as phonetic; alternatively written as 𠾱.' Lower character: *shuang* + *zhuo* fanqie; the *Kaosheng* says: '欶 means to suckle.' The *Lüe* says: 'To inhale with the mouth.' We note: the character 欶 refers to mosquitoes and insects gathering to bite and suck; derived from 欠 with 束 as phonetic. In the sūtra text it is written as 嗽, which is a vulgar character).
