謦瘶（上輕鼎反蒼頡篇云謦聲也說文欬也從言殸音同上下叟奏反埤蒼瘶寒熱病也考聲氣衝喉也亦作遬俗作欶古今正字從疒欶聲欶音速）。

謦瘶, coughing (the first [character is pronounced with the fanqie] 輕 + 鼎; the Cang Jie pian states: "Qing (謦) is a sound"; the Shuowen states it means to cough, having the speech radical and qing (殸) phonetic, qing having the same sound as above; the second [character is pronounced with the fanqie] 叟 + 奏; the Picang states: "Shuo (瘶) is a disease of chills and fever"; the Kaosheng states: "Air rushing up the throat"; it is also written 遬, and vulgarly written 欶; the Gujin zhengzi states it has the sickness radical and shuo (欶) phonetic, shuo being pronounced 速).
