Sobbing and sighing (歔欷) (the upper character has the sound 虛 [xū]; the lower has the sound 希 [xī]; Gu Yewang says: "to breathe out in sorrowful sighing, the sound of weeping, or holding one's breath"; the Cang Jie pian says: "the lingering sound after weeping"; it is also written with the "mouth" radical as 噓唏).
