一撮（倉括反杜注左傳撮聚也若作餘音非經意也集訓云二手掬也或以器物撮也說文從手最聲）。

A pinch (一撮) ([撮 is pronounced] 倉 + 括 [cāng-kuò > cuō]; Du [Yu's] commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: "撮 means to gather together"; if pronounced with other sounds, it does not match the intention of the sūtra; the Jixun says: "to scoop with both hands, or to pinch up with an implement"; the Shuowen jiezi says it takes the "hand" radical [手] and has 最 for phonetic).
