拕掣 (The first character is pronounced 他. The Kaosheng states: “拕 means to drag.” The Shuowen states: “Analyzed from 毛 [hair] with 它 as phonetic.” 它 has the same pronunciation as the word itself. The second character has the fanqie 冐折. The Kaosheng states: “掣 means to drag or haul.” Gu Yewang states: “掣 means to pull.” The Shuowen states: “Analyzed from 手 [hand] with 制 as phonetic”; sometimes written 摯.)
