椎拍（上墜追反下怕迫反說文擊物椎也從木隹聲說文拍推也拊拍怜也從手白聲經從木誤也）。

椎拍 (The first character has the fanqie 墜追; the second character has the fanqie 怕迫. The Shuowen states: “A hammer for striking things. Analyzed from 木 [wood] with 隹 as phonetic.” The Shuowen states: “拍 means to push; to pat gently with fond affection. Analyzed from 手 [hand] with 白 as phonetic.” In the sūtra, writing it with 木 [wood] is erroneous.)
