隨嵐（下藍古今正字云嵐山風也此字因北狄語呼猛風為可嵐遂書出此嵐字因置嵐州之鎮也旋風者大風也）。

隨嵐 (The second character is 藍. The Gujin zhengzi states: “嵐 is a mountain wind. Because the Northern Di language calls a ferocious wind kelan, this character 嵐 was subsequently written down, and the military garrison of Lanzhou was established on this account.” A whirlwind is a great wind.)
