蹊徑（上胡雞反杜注左傳云蹊谷中徑也鄭注禮記云禽獸之道也古今正字山谷中小道也從足奚聲也）。

蹊徑, path and trail (the first [character is pronounced with the fanqie] 胡 + 雞; Du's commentary to the Zuo zhuan states: "Qi (蹊) is a trail in a valley"; Zheng's commentary to the Liji states: "A track made by birds and beasts"; the Gujin zhengzi states: "A narrow path in a mountain valley"; it has the foot radical and xi (奚) phonetic).
