火㷮（早勞反蒼頡火燒木也廣雅㷮炮也㷮音糟說文云㷮焦也從火曹聲也）。

火㷮 (huǒzāo; zāo has the fanqie 早勞 [zāo]; Cang Jie says it means fire burning wood; the Guangya says that zāo means to roast; 㷮 is pronounced zāo; the Shuowen jiezi says that 㷮 means scorched, composed of 火 [fire] with 曹 [cáo] giving the sound).
