高梯（天提反賈逵注國語云梯階也考聲梯隥也登亘去聲可以登陟也說文木階也從木弟省聲也）。

高梯 (gāotī; the character tī has the fanqie 天提 [tī]; Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu says that tī means steps or stairs; the Kaosheng says that tī means ladder rungs, used to climb up; the Shuowen jiezi says it is a wooden staircase, composed of 木 [wood] with an abbreviated 弟 giving the sound).
