倐忽（上昇戮反楚辭云往來倐忽也考聲云倐猶光動貌也說文云倐謂犬走也從犬從倐音由會意字也錄從黑作儵說文青黑繒也非此義）。

Suddenly and swiftly (倐忽: the first character has the fanqie 上昇戮 [shù]; the Songs of Chu say: 'Coming and going suddenly and swiftly.' The Kaosheng says: 'Shù describes the appearance of flickering light.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Shù describes a dog running.' It takes 'dog' [犬] and shù [倐] as an associative compound; the catalogue writes it with 'black' [黑] as 儵; the Shuowen jiezi says that means black silk, which is not this meaning).
