敺之（上謳口反史記愕然欲歐之說文云歐捶擊也從攴區聲區音謳考聲亦從攴作敺）。

To beat him (the first character has the fanqie: ou + kou; the Shiji states: "Astonished, he wanted to beat him." The Shuowen jiezi states: "Ou means to beat with a stick; analyzed from radical pu [to strike] with qu providing the sound." Qu is pronounced ou; the Kaosheng also writes it with radical pu [to strike] as 敺).
