玄奘（下藏朗反僧名也爾雅云奘駔也駔作朗反郭璞云大也說文從大壯聲）。

玄奘 (the second character is *z[àng]-lǎng* fanqie; a monk's name. The *Erya* says: “*Zhuàng* (奘) means powerful.” Powerful (*zǎng*) is *z[uò]-lǎng* fanqie. Guo Pu says: “Great.” The *Shuowen jiezi* says: “Composed of ‘great’ (大) with *zhuàng* (壯) as phonetic”).
