𠜂削（上產姦反聲類云𠜂猶定也家語云夫子𠜂詩書也說文𠜂剟也竹劣反剟削也從刀從𠕋音策𠕋即簡也會意字也下廂雀反廣雅云削減也說文從刀從尚聲）。

𠜂削 (The first character has the fanqie chan3-jian1. The Shenglei says: '𠜂 is like ding, to decide or edit.' The Jiayu says: 'The Master 𠜂 [edited] the Songs and the Documents.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '𠜂 means chù [剟, to prune or trim].' With the fanqie zhu2-lie4, chù means to plane and pare away; it is derived from dāo [刀] and 𠕋, pronounced cè; 𠕋 means slips of bamboo or wood: an ideogrammic compound. The second character has the fanqie xiang1-que4. The Guangya says: '削 means to pare away or reduce.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It is derived from dāo [刀] with shàng [尚] as phonetic').
