Walking barefoot (跣: the upper character is xiān + diǎn [xiǎn]; the Shangshu says: "If walking barefoot without looking at the ground, one's feet will be injured." Shuowen says: "跣 means to look at the ground with bare feet; derived from 足 [foot] with 先 as phonetic.").
