Saliva and spittle (㳄唾: the upper character is xiàn + yán [xián]; Shuowen says: "㳄 means mouth fluid; derived from 水 [water] and 欠 [yawn]." In the transmission, written as 涎, a vulgar character; the lower is tǔ + wò [tuò]).
