荳[卄/(冠-寸+ㄆ)] (Cardamom: the upper character is pronounced dòu; the lower character is [kòu], [fanqie] 訶搆. The Nanfang yiwu zhi states: "Cardamom is pungent and fragrant and can be eaten; it is produced in Jiaozhi commandery." The Gujin zhengzi says both characters are written with the grass radical, with dòu and kòu serving as their respective phonetics).
