諸㠀（刀老反孔注尚書㠀海曲山人可居曰㠀尚書曰居㠀之夷也釋名云㠀到也謂人所奔到也說文海中往往有山可依止曰㠀從山鳥聲）。

諸㠀 (*dao* + *lao* [fanqie]. Kong's commentary on the *Shangshu* [says]: "A curved mountain in the sea where people can dwell is called an island (㠀)." The *Shangshu* says: "The barbarians dwelling on the islands." The *Shiming* says: "㠀 means to reach (到); that is, a place where people flee and reach." The *Shuowen* [says]: "Hills scattered in the sea where one can settle are called islands (㠀); composed of the mountain radical with 鳥 as the phonetic.")
